| The Sensational Saver Fall Fun at Triple B Farm |
This past weekend my family and I drove to Monongahela to visit the Pumpkin and Apple Festival at Triple B Farm. What fun we had! I was not prepared for the extreme popularity of this event. The line to get in was long but moved very quickly and even though there was a large crowd there it didn't feel crowded, just festive. People were friendly and everything moved along at a nice pace.

Next my kids were begging to ride the two tube slides. Once was not enough for either of them. A few slides later and we were off to the rope maze just a short walk away. Caitlyn, 4 was helped through the maze by Joshua, 7 her big brother. It was a rare moment. The rope maze ends with a climb up a rope ladder and down a twisty slide that left smiles on both their faces.
On our way out of this section the kids tried the Ducky Derby - a rubber ducky race that requires you use a hand pump to pump water into a half-pipe to beat your opponents. Even with a little help from the attendant Caitlyn's ducky was no match for Joshua's brute strength at the hand pump.
There was a magician walking around the farm providing impromptu magic shows throughout the farm. Perfect for my kids. They both really liked getting to help with a couple of his tricks. Even I found myself laughing out loud at his antics.
We enjoyed a hayride through the fields before making our way over to the inflatables section. There were two. One for very small children and one for everyone else. The kids loved these as well. When they tired themselves out Joshua tried his hand at the Farm Flinger where he got another good workout using a slingshot to hit one of two targets with tennis balls.
Both children and my husband then wanted to try to ring a bell with a sledge hammer. My husband was determined to ring that bell. All three were successful.
I was excited to attempt the corn maze. In all of my trips to Triple B Farm over the years we'd never tried it. We were not disappointed. It was just the right level of difficulty that took just the right amount of time, about 20 minutes, for us to find our way through. Joshua especially enjoyed being the leader and did a great job of helping the family find the right path out. He was pretty proud of himself.We couldn't leave without a stop in the market for a few things. We headed home with apples, indian corn, pumpkins, peppers and apple dumplings.
We had a blast but even after almost three hours we had not seen and done everything Triple B Farm has to offer. Other attractions at the Fall festival include:

If you decide to visit Triple B Farms you will want to allow yourself several hours to see everything. For an additional fee they also offered face painting and pony rides. I recommend this event. Well worth the price of admission for hours of fun. It was well staffed and all were friendly and helpful. I wish we had had more time to spend there but that just gives us a reason to go back.
