Save $$ on College Textbooks!

If you have a son or daughter heading off to college this month (I have two!) then you are looking for ways to save money on all the associated costs.  One way I’ve found to help minimize the impact on the wallet is by renting books instead buying them.  Last year I discovered  I’m so glad I did.  We no longer purchase the kids college books.  We rent them.  At a huge savings.
If you are new to renting textbooks then you are probably wondering WHY?  Here are some of the benefits of renting through

  • A savings of 40-90% off of bookstore prices

  • No shipping fees!  Free shipping both ways

  • It’s OK to highlight in the textbooks

  • Flexible renting periods with extensions available

  • 30-day risk free return

  • Option to purchase your books

  • 15 day grace period for book return allows you to rent your textbooks for a fraction of the cost of buying them.  You can rent for a fixed amount of time or choose your own rental period. They send you a the return envelope with your book shipment, send you a reminder e-mail when your book is due back as well as a 15 day grace period for returning your books.  They make is SO easy.

How does it work?  Good Question.  Check out this quick video:

My daughter is a pre-med student.  Her textbooks  are outrageously expensive.  I searched online for her Anatomy book .  The prices for purchasing the book new range from $100 - $190 and that didn’t include shipping. will charge just $27.27 to rent the book for the entire semester, including shipping BOTH ways! That is a huge savings.

The other great thing that sets apart from other book rental sites is that a portion of every sale goes to support Operation Smile.  Operation Smile is a charity devoted to providing free corrective surgery to children born with a cleft palate. It’s a life changing operation for the children that need it.  So I'm saving money and doing good.  I love that.

I highly recommend using for your textbook needs.
